Role Overview

This attorney will handle employment litigation matters end-to-end, with full responsibility for case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations. The role is ideal for an employment litigator who is comfortable owning cases, discussing historical settlement results, and thriving in a performance-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage employment litigation matters from intake through resolution
  • Draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and mediation briefs using cloud-based platforms
  • Take and defend depositions and argue motions as needed
  • Drive case strategy and lead settlement negotiations independently
  • Leverage AI tools and shared services to maximize efficiency and throughput
  • Communicate directly with clients and deliver a high-quality client experience
  • Collaborate with a fully remote team of experienced employment litigators

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Active California Bar license in good standing (required)
  • 3+ years of employment law experience (required)
  • 3+ years of litigation experience total (required)
  • Plaintiff-side or defense background considered
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating and settling cases
  • Strong legal writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills
  • Comfortable discussing historical settlement results and fee generation
  • Ability to thrive in a remote, performance-driven environment
