About the role

Join our Quality team in Brighton as an EMC Test Engineer, where you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet compliance standards. You’ll carry out EMC and environmental testing for Paxton and external customer products in our ISO17025 accredited test facility. This is a hands-on role in a collaborative environment, perfect for someone passionate about electronics and compliance testing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EMC and environmental testing on Paxton and external customer products to defined standards.
  • Maintain and calibrate lab equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly internal calibration tasks.
  • Organise and maintain compliance documentation for products.
  • Act as the first point of contact for compliance queries, managing the inbox and supporting internal and external teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the test facility.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Hands on experience in electronics testing or a strong background in electronics is essential.
  • Previous exposure to EMC testing in a laboratory or compliance environment would be advantageous.
  • Relevant qualification in electronics or a related discipline.
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to testing and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
