Email Marketing Specialist

TLDR

Execute and optimize email marketing programs that enhance the promotion of webinars, customer lifecycle, and contribute to revenue growth in a dynamic SaaS environment.

As an Email Marketing Specialist, you will work cross-functionally in the execution and optimization of email programs that support the promotion of our global webinar program, prospect monetization and customer lifecycle within our product-led model. You will apply a critical lens when it comes to project management and interdependencies. You will report to the Manager, Email Marketing, and you will work closely with teams such as Brand, Marketing Operations, Webinars, Product, Billing, and Data teams.

This role is open to remote-applicants in Canada and USA (in Provinces/States where we can hire legally)

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Build and launch automated and batch email campaigns within our marketing automation platform, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to translate briefs into high-quality, on-time deployments, including audience segmentation, email builds, UTMs, and thorough QA.
  • Own the execution of webinar promotional campaigns, partnering with the Webinar team to build, launch, and optimize registration and reminder communications that drive attendance and engagement for live events and virtual summits.
  • Project manage email campaigns and task deliverables related to email in Wrike (including stakeholder relationships, task creation, assignment, and proactively ensure timely completion of projects and flawless campaign sends) 
  • Maintain audience governance and deliverability health across assigned campaigns, ensuring accurate segmentation, send frequency and volume controls, and proactive engagement monitoring to protect performance and IP reputation.
  • Support execution of email experiments, from setting up A/B tests to analyzing results. You will help optimize the customer journey and provide data-backed insights to improve key metrics.
  • Analyze and report on email and lifecycle program performance across owned and stakeholder initiatives, leveraging marketing automation and analytics dashboards to generate insights and identify optimization opportunities.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation within a SaaS environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience building automated and batch campaigns in a marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar), including segmentation logic, triggers and workflows.
  • Experience supporting trial-based or product-led growth models, with demonstrated impact on activation, trial-to-paid conversion, or revenue expansion initiatives.
  • High attention to detail and operational rigor, including QA processes, naming conventions, and tracking accuracy (UTMs, attribution).
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders and execute campaigns independently from brief intake through deployment and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and dashboards (e.g., Tableau or similar BI tools) to generate insights and inform optimization.
  • Solid understanding of email deliverability best practices.
  • Experience working with tools such as Knak and Wrike is preferred.
