Own and optimize CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention, leveraging data-driven insights and collaboration across teams.
As the Email Marketing & CRM Manager on Vention’s Growth Marketing team, you will own the strategy, execution, and optimization of our CRM and lifecycle marketing programs to drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and revenue growth.
You will be responsible for defining how we leverage CRM as a core growth lever — from segmentation and lifecycle strategy to automation and performance optimization. Working closely with Marketing, RevOps, Data, and Sales, you will ensure our CRM ecosystem drives measurable business impact across the entire funnel. This role requires a strong strategic mindset, deep analytical capabilities, and hands-on expertise in marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot.
Key Responsibilities:
CRM & Lifecycle Strategy
Own and build Vention’s lifecycle marketing playbook, defining key journeys, touchpoints, messaging frameworks, and channel orchestration across the full funnel.
Define and evolve segmentation frameworks (ICP, behavioral, lifecycle, LTV-driven) to enable personalized and scalable marketing.
Design and implement nurture strategies for key business priorities, including new logo acquisition, pipeline acceleration, and customer retention.
Partner with RevOps, Data Science, and Growth to define and refine lead scoring models and lifecycle stage definitions.
Identify opportunities to improve funnel efficiency and drive conversion across lifecycle stages.
Email Marketing & Automation
Define the email and CRM communication strategy, including what we send, when, and why, across all lifecycle stages.
Design, build, and optimize automated workflows and nurture sequences in HubSpot across the entire customer lifecycle.
Partner with RevOps and Sales to align email communications and lifecycle journeys with lead stages (MQL → SQL), ensuring a consistent and seamless customer experience across marketing and sales touchpoints.
Lead personalization strategies across email campaigns, leveraging segmentation, behavioral triggers, and dynamic content.
Oversee email performance, including deliverability, engagement, and conversion, ensuring best practices are applied.
Drive continuous testing (A/B and multivariate) across messaging, content, and user journeys.
Own email compliance and governance, ensuring adherence to GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and internal data privacy standards, in partnership with Legal and Marketing Operations.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
Define and track key CRM and lifecycle KPIs, including engagement, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.
Analyze performance across the funnel to identify gaps, friction points, and optimization opportunities.
Build and present insights and recommendations to improve lifecycle performance and business outcomes.
Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting across all CRM initiatives.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Work closely with Product Marketing, and Content teams to align messaging, campaigns, and audience strategies.
Collaborate with BDR and Sales teams to ensure alignment on lead handoff, follow-up strategies, and pipeline acceleration.
Partner with Marketing Ops to ensure CRM infrastructure supports lifecycle strategy, including data quality, segmentation, and automation capabilities.
Support key initiatives such as product launches, campaigns, and ABM programs through CRM activation.
What you bring to the table
5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation, preferably in a B2B or technology environment.
Strong expertise in HubSpot (or similar platforms like Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo), including workflow automation, segmentation, and lifecycle management.
Proven ability to build and scale lifecycle marketing programs (lead nurturing, onboarding, retention, reactivation) that drive pipeline and revenue impact.
Experience defining and evolving segmentation strategies (ICP, behavioral, lifecycle stages, LTV-driven audiences).
Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights; experience tracking and optimizing KPIs such as conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and engagement.
Hands-on experience with A/B testing and optimization of messaging, journeys, and campaign performance.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives across teams (Marketing, Sales, RevOps, Data).
Experience working cross-functionally in complex environments, ensuring alignment between marketing and sales motions.
Solid understanding of email deliverability, compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL), and CRM governance best practices.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and present strategic recommendations.
Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
