Email Marketing Associate

OVERVIEW:

Guidepoint’s growing Email Marketing group is responsible for creating demand for our services, generating leads for our sales teams, and driving sales among our clients. In pursuit of this critical goal, the Email Marketing group programs and deploys 500+ unique email campaigns per month.

As an Email Marketing Associate, you will be the newest member of our Digital Marketing team, taking part in the planning, creation and launch of a variety of lead generation and demand generation campaigns, working collaboratively with your peers. The ideal candidate for this role is a team player with a clear understanding of HTML and CSS and the email marketing channel, and a desire to rapidly upskill and progress to advance techniques.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Implement the day-to-day workflow of coordinated email initiatives from start to finish, including development, execution, and analysis based on audience-specific goals
  • Leverage email automation platforms to plan, program, and monitor campaigns, including Dreamweaver, Email on Acid, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and others
  • Contribute ideas for how we can continuously test and learn, in order to maximize performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to align on email strategy, enhance messaging, and manage recipients
  • Work with the design team to generate custom digital assets and layouts

WHAT YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Marketing, Communications, English, and/or Business major a plus)
  • Experience coding emails in HTML and CSS required
  • Working knowledge of Dreamweaver or comparable platform preferred
  • Proficiency with enterprise-level marketing automation platforms (Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, HubSpot, Marketo, etc.) a plus
  • Broad understanding of digital marketing channels, preferably with knowledge of the B2B space
  • Capacity to quickly learn applicable systems and processes
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical skills, technical knowledge and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English with a high attention to detail and ability to proofread
