ABOUT THE ROLE:
You will lead continuous improvement efforts and manage ELS Project Leaders across ASEAN. Acts as change agent and subject matter expert to or within the business unit to drive and support ELS continuous improvements.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE :
ELS focus
Leading and driving continuous improvement in revenue and cost enabler for our business through business processes/system simplification, eliminating non-value-added tasks, whilst improving the overall productivity of our organization in a sustainable manner
Connecting to Asia Pacific ELS for all related programs and collaboratively develop supporting regional improvement initiatives eg.Project Falcon, Project Spinel and Data Analytics
Coach and catalyst for the sharing and implementation of best practices across all businesses.
Partner with the site and functional leaders to train and deploy Enterprise Lean Sigma practices.
Country ELS leaders in ASEAN will have a dotted-reporting line to this role.
Monitor the team’s progress in applying the Enterprise Lean Sigma techniques
Facilitate and support Kaizen events.
Build relationships with business leaders to understand business objectives and priorities and collaboratively develop supporting process improvement initiatives.
Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals.
Coordinate team efforts, create and manage a regional strategy and team operating plan.
Assists in selection of teams and individuals to work Enterprise Lean Sigma implementation opportunities.
Use the Value Stream Map to establish the baseline process and measure progress
Regional Capability Lead
Work to build capability on ELS and on other performance improvement tools & techniques
Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Assist to develop our Subject Matter Experts in critical machines and build new capabilities and develop training strategies in our facilities.
WHAT WILL BE LOOKING IN YOU FOR :
Minimum 10 years in Enterprise Lean Sigma and process improvement projects.
Certified Black Belt is a must.
Hands on exp in business/lean/operations experience, driving team excellence, and managing people.
Proven leadership skills (lead, motivation, process and people management skills).
Successful and effective communicator.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Project management skills
Ability to work effectively in teams
