The Mission of the Electronics Test Engineer

We’re looking for an Electronics Test Engineer to help us scale our Team as we develop the next generations of our satellites. In this role, you’ll be deeply involved in qualifying new technologies before they enter production, designing test plans and test equipment, and supporting our Assembly, Integration & Testing (AIT) activities.

You’ll collaborate with engineers across multiple domains to continuously improve our test systems and ensure our products meet the highest standards of reliability and performance. From running qualification campaigns to designing EGSE and test automation setups, you’ll play a hands-on role in building the future of our spacecraft.

If you’re excited about testing cutting-edge electronics and enabling fast, reliable satellite production, we’d love to have you on board.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead qualification campaigns for new technologies, including timeline management, periodic reviews, and risk mitigation.
  • Design qualification plans to validate power, digital, and mixed-signal electronics against system and design requirements.
  • Develop and document test procedures, test results, assembly procedures, and other materials required for internal reviews.
  • Perform data analysis on test results, conduct root-cause investigations, and present clear findings to key stakeholders.
  • Provide actionable feedback to electronics designers to improve product performance and manufacturability.
  • Design EGSE, data acquisition systems, and custom test hardware/software to enable scalable test automation.
  • Build efficient test setups, jigs, and fixtures to support qualification and AIT activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing capabilities as we scale production.

Requirements

Required

  • BSc/MSc in Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in electronics testing, test automation, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience as an electronics test engineer and/or electronics design engineer.
  • Experience developing automated tests and owning the full test development lifecycle.
  • Experience designing test jigs, fixtures, and custom test setups.
  • Experience programming microcontrollers.
  • PCB design experience using Altium or a similar EDA tool.
  • Familiarity with SPICE-based circuit simulation.
  • Experience using a wide variety of lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, VSAs, thermal chambers, etc.).
  • Fundamental RF understanding.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Positive attitude, curiosity, and ability to thrive in multicultural and fast-paced environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience developing EGSE for space or high-reliability applications.
  • Experience with scripting languages and frameworks for data acquisition or automation.
  • Familiarity with environmental or reliability testing in aerospace or similar industries.

Who You Are

You’re hands-on, curious, and comfortable navigating between hardware, software, and test environments. You love solving problems, automating processes, and influencing design decisions through rigorous testing. You collaborate well across teams, bring structure to fast-moving projects, and enjoy building systems that scale.
