We are looking to add an Electronics Lab Technician III to our team. If you enjoy working in a startup environment and are passionate about developing leading-edge electronics for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems, we would like to hear from you.
This role is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge products for space applications. You will work with a tight-need team of engineers and technicians to bring new space products to life through circuit board assembly, rework, integration, and test, playing a key role in turning the company’s vision into reality. The role encompasses a wide range of electronic components, from high-frequency RF devices to large, high-speed FPGAs. Top-notch equipment supports your efforts, from quality hand tools to onsite equipment like a BGA rework machine, X-ray, and environmental test equipment.
At a small company and a startup, your work will make direct contributions to the success of the business. The work is challenging and impactful, requiring both breadth and depth of technical knowledge and skills. Our products are made for high-reliability space and airborne applications, so hands-on work requires high levels of rigor while maintaining the agility of a startup environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute test plans and provide concise and timely reporting of findings
Organize and maintain antenna testing facilities, equipment and resources.
Support setup and measurements of sensitive electronics, including QFNs, chip-scale ICs, RF cables, and 0201 passive components
Execute to and provide feedback on thorough documentation with meticulous attention to detail and a high standard of quality
Support clean, intricate, and well-documented test setups consisting of instrumentation, cabling, and the devices under test
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years of directly related experience as an Engineering Technician]
Experience working with active electronics
Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as DMMs and Power Meters\Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot with direction
Strong organization skills
Comfortable with collaboration tools such as MS Teams and Sharepoint
Ability to work well under deadlines
Strong digital, written, and verbal communication skills
