Starting pay $32.50/hr + (DOE)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the department and other pertinent rules / regulations governing work standards.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical operations of the machinery of the facility.
  • Knowledge of electricity and electrical systems sufficient to build panels, estimate load requirements, wire sizes, etc.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials and safe handling procedures.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic technology.
  • Ability to program and work with the PLC system.
  • Ability to perform multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work with and run conduit.

Minimum Requirements

Education:  High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience: Two years of industrial electrical experience to include PLC troubleshooting and three-phase motor control required.

Physical Working Conditions: 
Heavy work.  Tasks involves pushing / pulling, lifting, and handling material up to 100 pounds plus standing and walking during a minimum twelve hour shift.
