Electrical Takeoff Specialist

Role: Electrical Takeoff Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Takeoff Specialist to perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and assist in preparing electrical cost estimates for commercial and residential projects.

Schedule: 9 AM - 5 PM EST, Fully Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Review electrical plans, specifications, and schedules.
• Perform detailed electrical material takeoffs (lighting, power, conduit, wiring, panels, devices).
• Measure conduit and cable lengths accurately.
• Identify symbols, legends, and electrical systems.
• Organize takeoff quantities by system and area.
• Assist in preparing cost estimates and bids.
• Collaborate with project managers and estimators.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of all takeoff data.

Requirements

• Experience performing electrical takeoffs for construction projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
• Familiarity with NEC standards (preferred).
• Proficiency in takeoff tools such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, or OST.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
