Join a growing team and work alongside experienced electricians as an Electrical Helper. This role is ideal if you're eager to learn the trade, support multi-site commercial projects across North Carolina, and develop hands-on skills in a fast-paced field environment.
Responsibilities:
Assist in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; including wiring, conduit, fixtures, and control systems
Carry and organize tools, materials, and supplies to and from worksites
Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit under guidance
Strip insulation, prep wiring, and help thread conduit and secure fittings
Support electricians with routine tasks: holding materials, cleaning tools, and preparing job sites
Monitor safety compliance, wear PPE, secure tools, and keep the site organized
Help trace or troubleshoot minor electrical issues and report them promptly
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Some experience or interest in the electrical trades; an apprenticeship certificate is a plus
Someone able to lift, bend, climb ladders, and work in varied conditions (indoor/outdoor, varying weather, sometimes confined spaces)
Ability to follow instructions closely and work safely under supervision
Basic understanding of hand tools and willingness to learn electrical tools and materials
Comfortable working in a team environment and eager to grow into more skilled roles
