The Opportunity

InCharge Energy is seeking a highly organized Electrical Estimator to develop accurate estimates for EV charging and electrification rollouts. The position reports directly to the Senior Electrical Estimator.

What You’ll Do

Work with Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and Project Managers to develop cost estimates for EV infrastructure projects
Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to review project scope, requirements, and technical specifications
Conduct site assessments and evaluations to gather information required for accurate cost estimation
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material lists, and labor requirements for each project
Use industry-standard estimating software and tools to produce accurate and competitive project estimates
Research and analyze market rates, vendor quotes, and historical cost data to ensure cost-effective pricing
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive bids and pricing
Identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities within each project and communicate findings to the team
Maintain and update cost databases to support efficient and accurate estimating
Participate in project review meetings to provide cost insights and recommendations

Your Experience and Capabilities

7-10+ years of experience in construction estimating, preferably with an electrical contractor with prior electrical project management experience preferred
Experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and EV charging infrastructure, including integration with solar projects, highly desired
Hands-on field project management experience strongly preferred
Proficiency with cost estimating software and tools with ConEst preferred
Ability to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-growing startup environment
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Salesforce, Procore, or similar platforms a plus
Journeyman Electrician required with Master Electrician highly preferred

US Salary Range

$80,000—$115,000 USD
