Your role as an Electrical Engineer

As a Electrical Engineer, you’ll combine hands-on engineering with international collaboration. You will work closely with Electrical and Software Engineers and report to the Manager of E&I and Software.

You’ll be based in Enschede, working alongside more than 400 colleagues, and from mid-2026 you’ll move to a brand-new, sustainably built office in Hengelo. You will also support our partner in Poland during container construction and commissioning, giving you valuable international exposure early in your career.

Your responsibilities

  • Prepare RFQs and evaluate technical offers;

  • Communicate directly with clients and answer technical questions;

  • Collaborate with Electrical and Software Engineering teams in the Netherlands and Poland;

  • Prepare load lists, network diagrams, cable lists, and electrical documentation;

  • Review electrical schematics and supervise panel builders;

  • Perform ATEX and SIL calculations;

  • Provide technical support during commissioning and start-up.

Requirements

Our requirements

  • A completed technical education at MBO-4 level or higher, preferably in Electrical Engineering or Industrial Automation;

  • Approximately 4 years of hands-on experience in electrical system design and implementation;

  • Knowledge of ISO, IEC, UL, CSA, ATEX, and SIL standards;

  • A proactive, accurate, and solution-oriented mindset;

  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude;

  • Good command of English, both spoken and written.
