We’re on the lookout for an Electronics/Electrical Site Engineer for Commissioning of IDE’s Systems, who’s not just a talented engineer but a detail-oriented individual with the passion for making things happen. What You ‘ll Be Doing:

  • Participate in the implementation of Projects, in all phases of project's execution, with the objective of delivering IDE systems to clients.
  • Lead project activities, such as technical evaluation, technical actions planning, creation of installation studies, creation of electrical drawings, site management, supervision of installation and commissioning.
  • Inspect and advise on installation of IDE’s Systems and corresponding electrical/electronic interconnection according to instructions by the development team.
  • Responsibility for field related project implementation technical activities (site survey, installation design, installation execution, system setting to work) for IDE’s communication and hybrid energy systems.
  • Supporting of customer acceptance testing (preparation of factory and site acceptance test plans and test procedures, acceptance activities).

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
  • Hands-on experience with hardware, electronic/electrical equipment of proven manufacturers.
  • Good knowledge of common interconnecting digital buses, e.g. RS-485, RS-232, CAN bus, Modbus, Ethernet.
  • Flexibility to short duration travel to various locations as required by the project.
  • Single-line electrical drawing creation using an industry standard tool, e.g. ePLAN, AutoCAD Electrical.

Desired:

  • 5+ years of experience as a site engineer for commissioning of Telecommunication or Electrical Energy projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to take initiative and motivation to drive results.
  • Very good planning and time-management skills.
  • High sense of accountability and great ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
