Accountabilities:

·        Lead production and coordination of full electrical design packages for large or complex projects.

·        Standardize Revit workflows, develop modeling resources, families, and templates, and resolve technical modeling challenges.

·        Review and approve project documentation for code compliance, performance objectives, and client requirements.

·        Integrate electrical systems across disciplines and resolve coordination conflicts.

·        Perform advanced electrical system analysis, including lifecycle assessments, decarbonization strategies, and code interpretation.

·        Lead lighting simulations, energy modeling, and development of tools for load calculations and system sizing.

·        Scope and plan project phases, delegate tasks strategically, and mentor emerging designers and engineers.

·        Lead technical discussions in client and consultant meetings, providing clear communication of decisions, trade-offs, and performance metrics.

·        Oversee construction administration duties, including bid review, RFI responses, submittal reviews, field observations, and progress evaluations.

Requirements

·        Bachelor’s degree in a directly related field or equivalent experience; professional licensure preferred.

·        10+ years of experience in the AEC industry, with a strong background in healthcare facilities.

·        Proficiency in Revit and familiarity with HCAI/OSHPD requirements and California building codes preferred.

·        Strong organizational skills and experience with project documentation, coordination, and technical problem-solving.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to collaborate under deadlines.

·        Detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible, and curious with a commitment to high-quality work.

·        Ability to navigate construction sites safely, perform desk-based work for prolonged periods, and communicate effectively across multiple platforms.
