We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in commissioning control panels, specifically integrated changeover panels within data center environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the seamless integration and functionality of electrical systems, working collaboratively with client teams and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning activities on integrated changeover panels, ensuring compliance with design specifications and operational requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with the client’s electrical and controls teams to coordinate commissioning schedules and resolve technical issues.
  • Interface with generator and switchgear vendors to ensure proper integration and functionality of supplied equipment.
  • Conduct functional testing, fault finding, and troubleshooting of control panels and associated systems.
  • Document commissioning procedures, test results, and system configurations.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety standards, industry regulations, and project timelines.
  • Provide technical support during handover and post-commissioning phases.
  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 5-10 years of experience in commissioning electrical control panels, ideally in data center or critical infrastructure environments.
  • Strong understanding of changeover systems, generator controls, and switchgear integration.
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, control logic, and PLC systems is advantageous.
  • Experience with SCADA, BMS, or automated control systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards such as IEC, BS, or NFPA.
  • Vendor management and client-facing experience.
  • UPS Experience would be advantageous. 
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel to site locations as required.
