Electrical Buyer Location: Marietta, OH  Salary range:  $80k - 120k Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement across our core product lines, including PDUs, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Remote Power Panels (RPP), and switchboards. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing activities, managing supplier communication, and ensuring timely material availability to support production and customer orders in a fast-paced, engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities
  • Execute purchase orders for electrical components, fabricated parts, and services required for production and customer orders.
  • Manage supplier acknowledgements, delivery commitments, and expediting to support production schedules.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to ensure accurate and timely procurement aligned with BOM releases and project schedules.
  • Support sourcing of key components including breakers, transformers, meters, SPDs, bus systems, and custom fabrication.
  • Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to support project costing and ongoing cost management.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing data, pricing, and order status within ERP/MRP systems.
  • Assist in developing preferred supplier relationships and multi-source supply strategies.
  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, lead times, and cost efficiency.
  • Qualifications
  • 3–7 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiarity with engineer-to-order (ETO) or configure-to-order environments strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
