Electrical Buyer

Electrical Buyer Location: Marietta, OH  Salary range:  $80k - 120k Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Buyer to support procurement across our core product lines, including PDUs, Static Transfer Switches (STS), Remote Power Panels (RPP), and switchboards. This role is responsible for executing day-to-day purchasing activities, managing supplier communication, and ensuring timely material availability to support production and customer orders in a fast-paced, engineer-to-order manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities

Execute purchase orders for electrical components, fabricated parts, and services required for production and customer orders.

Manage supplier acknowledgements, delivery commitments, and expediting to support production schedules.

Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Project Management to ensure accurate and timely procurement aligned with BOM releases and project schedules.

Support sourcing of key components including breakers, transformers, meters, SPDs, bus systems, and custom fabrication.

Obtain and evaluate supplier quotations to support project costing and ongoing cost management.

Maintain accurate purchasing data, pricing, and order status within ERP/MRP systems.

Assist in developing preferred supplier relationships and multi-source supply strategies.

Support continuous improvement of procurement processes, lead times, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

3–7 years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with electrical equipment, switchgear, or industrial manufacturing preferred.

Familiarity with engineer-to-order (ETO) or configure-to-order environments strongly preferred.

Strong organizational and follow-up skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
