Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Electrical & Instrumentation QC Inspector with strong exposure to Saudi Aramco projects. The role involves overseeing quality inspection and surveillance activities during the construction phase, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international standards, and approved quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform material receiving inspections, including verification, traceability, and clearance.

  • Conduct quality surveillance and inspection activities as per approved ITPs.

  • Verify EPC contractor construction activities comply with approved procedures and QC requirements.

  • Issue Inspection Reports, NCRs, and ensure timely close-out.

  • Maintain accurate QC records and monitor contractor quality performance.

  • Review and verify availability and proper use of quality documentation on site.

  • Participate in site quality audits, quality meetings, and final punch listing activities.

  • Review and support approval of EPC contractor quality documents.

  • Coordinate and witness FAT and SAT activities.

  • Ensure calibrated measuring and testing equipment are correctly used and maintained.

Requirements

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree / HND / Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Science, or equivalent.

  • Minimum 12 years of QC & inspection experience during the construction phase.

  • Mandatory Saudi Aramco project experience.

  • Proven experience in Oil & Gas and Power Plant projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Electrical & Instrumentation construction, materials, methods, and testing.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Instrument calibration & certification

    • Loop checking, megger testing, cable glanding & termination

    • Electrical equipment (motors, transformers, generators, substations, cables)

    • Analogue & digital control systems, transmitters, control valves

  • Solid understanding of international E&I codes and standards.

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.

Preferred Qualification

  • Ex Certification (Preferred, not mandatory)

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple inspections

  • Strong commitment to quality and safety standards
