  • Manage the maintenance and implementation of safety programs, compliance plans, and initiatives.

  • Conduct, coordinate, and track various training to support company programs like First-Aid training, Lab safety training, new joiner induction training and tests (India and UK), firefighting, fire hydrant training, etc.

  • Working with the EHS team for the Key Cooperative promotion of safety governance in the company.

  • Conduct routine safety audits (external and internal), ensuring compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and practices.

  • Lead incident/accident investigations and implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Manage & maintain internal and regulatory reports, including data collection, observations, SOPs, policies, etc.

  • Liaising with government authorities, including the DISH, GPCB, fire department, and PESO.

  • Ability to take necessary steps to ensure a safe work environment for all employees

  • Responsible for project safety and coordinating with the operations team to ensure task completion. 

  • Promote behaviour-based safety (BBS) and ensure employee engagement in safety initiatives.

  • Monitor environmental aspects like waste management, water usage, air emissions, and energy efficiency.

  • Support team in EHS audits, certifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001), and client audits.

Requirements

  • Clear understanding of EHS principles & strategies 

  • Have a passion for EHS, as well as being open to continuous learning and education

  • Creative thinking to spot new ideas and initiatives for safety awareness and promoting a safe culture across sites 

  • Be highly organised with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment

  • Ability to work in a team in a transparent and entrepreneurial culture

  • Self-motivated with initiative to reach challenging targets

  • Outstanding business writing and proofreading skills with a fearless and positive mindset 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and good at the drafting process and policies

  • Positivity, focus and a winning mentality allied with kindness

  • Curiosity, energy, creativity, and bravery with a strong desire to help build the o2h culture

  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO 14001/45001 Lead Auditor would be an added advantage
