The EHS & Facilities Manager is responsible for leading and executing Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs and Facilities Operations across the San Francisco and Rohnert Park offices. This role is accountable for ensuring a safe, compliant, and well-maintained workplace by overseeing EHS compliance, inspections, training, incident management, vendor oversight, and building operations.

This position serves as the primary on-site authority for workplace safety and facilities management, partnering closely with internal stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to proactively manage risk, maintain regulatory compliance, and support reliable day-to-day operations. The role requires strong judgment, hands-on leadership, and the ability to manage multiple sites with evolving operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

EHS Responsibilities (Primary)
• Lead the implementation, execution, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for the San Francisco and Rohnert Park offices.
• Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations, including Cal/OSHA requirements.
• Conduct routine and ad hoc safety inspections, audits, and walkthroughs; identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Own incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
• Develop, coordinate, and maintain safety training programs, including onboarding, refresher training, and emergency preparedness drills.
• Manage emergency response planning, evacuation procedures, signage, and safety equipment readiness.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for safety-related inquiries, inspections, and interactions with regulatory agencies as needed.
• Maintain accurate EHS documentation, records, permits, and logs in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
• Ensure contractor and vendor compliance with site safety requirements, including onboarding, training, and safe work practices.
• Promote a strong safety culture through proactive engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Facilities Operations Responsibilities:

• Own day-to-day facilities operations for the San Francisco and Rohnert Park offices.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, including HVAC, fire alarm, fire suppression, and general building infrastructure.
• Oversee facilities vendors, service providers, and contractors; manage onboarding, scheduling, performance, and site access.
• Manage general maintenance, repairs, and minor construction activities, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, lighting, flooring, and partitions.
• Support space planning, furniture moves, room setups, and equipment relocations in support of business needs.
• Lead facilities-related projects, including small remodels, office refreshes, and operational improvements.
• Review and interpret CAD drawings, diagrams, and blueprints to support facilities planning and execution.
• Support budget planning, cost estimating, and expense tracking for EHS and facilities-related work.
• Identify vendors and lead competitive bidding processes to ensure cost-effective and compliant services.
• Maintain kitchens, conference rooms, and common areas to a professional workplace standard.
• Oversee building access control and security systems in partnership with IT and security teams.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong working knowledge of Environmental, Health, and Safety principles, regulations, and best practices.
• Experience managing EHS programs, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Solid understanding of facilities operations, building systems, and preventative maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including CAD drawings and construction documents.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across sites.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence employees, vendors, and leadership.
• Comfortable working independently with sound judgment and escalation awareness.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $155,000 - $170,000, bonus, and equity. #LI-IB1; #LI-Onsite
