Editor in Chief

Salla is one of the fastest-growing e-commerce platforms in the MENA region, delivering innovative technology solutions that empower businesses to scale rapidly. As we continue to expand, we are looking for an experienced and driven Editor in Chief to lead our editorial team and shape the content strategy of our tech company. You will oversee all content operations, ensure editorial quality, and align our messaging across digital platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the editorial team's daily operations and output
• Define and enforce editorial standards, tone, and content policies
• Develop and execute a digital content strategy across all channels
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align messaging
• Review and approve content before publication to ensure accuracy and quality 
• Track content performance, analyze results, and report to leadership
• Manage publishing schedules and ensure timely delivery 

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Media, Communications, or a related field
• 5–8 years of experience in editorial and digital content roles
• Previous experience in a tech company or startup is a plus
• Excellent command of English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage
• Proficiency in CMS tools (e.g., WordPress) and SEO fundamentals
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
