The EDI Implementer is a crucial role within our organization, aimed at growing and maintaining our eSolutions function and EDI capabilities. This position involves a blend of technical proficiency, project management, and collaborative skills to implement, manage, and optimize EDI systems and workflows. The EDI Implementer will ensure that all electronic transactions meet both the business and compliance requirements of our partners and will drive continuous improvements in our EDI processes.


Responsibilities & duties:


EDI System Management and Optimization

1. Oversee set up, maintenance, configuration of partner integrations

2. Ensure optimal performance through routine system monitoring

3. Implement EDI standards and new transaction types based on business and partner requirements

4. Evaluate EDI process for opportunities to improve and streamline data flows for optimal efficiency and ease-of-use


Projects and implementation

1. Participate and lead EDI implementation initiatives and projects

2. Work closely with SAP team and EDI providers

3. Work closely with 3PL and other EDI stakeholders


Data mapping and transaction handling

1. Develop and maintain data maps and transaction sets

2. Analyze and transform data

3. Ensure accuracy and compliance


Technical support and training

1. Provide technical support, trouble shooting and incident handling

2. Train internal teams in processes and systems

3. Enhance team’s abilities to resolve EDI issues independently


Academic & Formal Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., X12, EDIFACT, XML) and communication protocols (e.g., AS2, FTP, SFTP).
  • Problem Solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English
  • Demonstrated customer focus with ability to meet project timelines
  • Experience working in ambiguous environment
  • Works well both independently and as part of a team
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing and supporting EDI solutions, including working with warehouse and logistics transactions
  • Project Management experience
  • Team leadership experience
  • Experience in healthcare industry preferred
