Job Summary

As an EDI Engineer, you will be a valuable member of our highly skilled technology and agile team, focused on supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include leading and actively participating in the design, development, and delivery of our software projects.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Leading EDI integrations, managing customer roll-outs, and supporting our EDI infrastructure to facilitate efficient data exchange across multiple systems and partners.
• Bring a strong understanding of EDI standards, data extraction languages, and project management, with a preference for experience in logistics or supply chain management.

Key requirements:

• Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable course of study, as well as affinity for IT and logistics
• several years of work experience in the EDI field (8+ years)
• good technical skills experience with EDI onboardings, EDI service providers and Value Added Networks (VANs)
• experience with EDI/API middleware such as Lobster_data, Seeburger BIS, Axway, IBM Sterling, Microsoft Dynamics, Boomi or similar
• experience with working, leading and supporting EDI roll-outs for customers
• in-depth knowledge of typical EDI formats like EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML, JSON and VDA as well as EDI protocols like AS2, OFTP2, SSH or PEPPOL (mapping experience)
• experience with DBs – MariaDB, PostGreSQL and knowhow of some data extraction languages such as SQL, XPath, Regex or similar
• excellent communication skills and fluent and English
• strong organizational skills and enjoy working independently
• team leadership skills
• Advantage: know-how in project management, supply chain management and/or logistics, knowhow of any programming language (Java, Python, C# etc.)
