Ecosystem Partnerships Manager - SDKs & Apps

WalletConnect is raising the bar for UX and security in Web3. This role will manage ecosystem partnerships with applications and SDKs building on the WalletConnect network including programs to enhance trustworthiness and security across the network.

The Role

Duration: Full-time; Location: REMOTE; Preferred Living Locations or Time zones: EMEA or East Coast US. CET overlap required.

As Ecosystem Partnerships Manager – SDKs & Apps, you will be responsible for growing and nurturing the ecosystem of app SDKs and Apps building on the WalletConnect network. This role reports to the VP of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities will include:

1. Drive App Certified Adoption

• Partner with our Product team to launch and drive adoption of a newly created App Certified program (similarly to Wallet Certified) to leading Apps and SDK providers, encouraging adoption of UX and security standards (for example - EIP-5792 Batch transaction, gas sponsorship, 1-Click Auth).
• Act as an advisor to ecosystem partners, helping them understand certification requirements and the benefits of trusted UX signals.
• Support onboarding for early pilot participants and track progress through Round 1 and Round 2 rollouts
  

2. Build Strategic SDK Partnerships

• Develop and nurture relationships with key SDK providers in the Web3 stack (e.g., Reown, Privy, Dynamic, ThirdWeb, Mesh Connect, Crossmint, Hyperlane).
• Identify co-marketing, co-development, or incentive opportunities to expand WalletConnect usage through these partners.
• Advocate for feature adoption (e.g., WalletConnect Verify API, AppGuide integration) across SDK ecosystems.
  

3. Grow the WalletConnect Network

• Identifying and growing the adoption of new features (e.g. payments or identity-related features)
• Identify high-potential apps and SDKs based on transaction volume (TVF) and strategic relevance, and design tailored engagement plans.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize ecosystem requests and influence roadmap decisions.
• Provide feedback from partners to inform WalletConnect’s standards and product evolution.

4. Ecosystem Thought Leadership

• Represent WalletConnect at industry events, panels, and online forums to champion best practices in app security and UX.
• Contribute to reports, blog posts, and webinars on WalletConnect’s evolving standards and ecosystem growth.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For (Must Haves):

• 5+ years in partnerships, ecosystem growth, or business development within Web3, developer tools, or API/SDK ecosystems.
• Familiarity with App architecture, SDKs, and wallet integrations; technical literacy with EVM, Solana, or similar ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of Web3 security, authentication standards, and UX best practices.
• Proven track record of partner acquisition and relationship management with technical or product teams.
• Proven track record of designing and/or building and/or deploying grant programs.
• Ability to travel (10% or less) to New York, USA or anywhere else leading Apps and SDKs team members are
• Excellent communication skills—you can engage both technical founders and business stakeholders.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and marketing in a remote-first, fast-paced environment.

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience with security certification programs, app marketplaces, or developer relations.
• Familiarity with Verify API, or similar app trust frameworks.
