AI overview

Lead the multi-channel growth strategy for ecommerce platforms, enhancing profitability through data analysis and performance marketing while managing diverse online marketplaces.

About Golden Lighting

Golden Lighting is a premier name in the residential design industry, recognized nationally for delivering "Expert Lighting Designs for Every Space." We combine the market reach of a major brand with the agility and culture of a tight-knit, 30-person private enterprise. We are profitable, growing, and obsessed with quality—not just in our products, but in our operations.

The Role

We are looking for a strategic and data-driven Ecommerce Marketplace Manager to lead our multi-channel growth strategy. This isn't just a "listing management" role—you will be the architect of our digital shelf across Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, and emerging social commerce platforms.

You will bridge the gap between technical PIM management, aggressive performance marketing (PPC), and bottom-line profitability. If you are a commercial-minded professional who thrives on optimizing conversion rates and scaling new channels, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

Drive Strategic Growth & Profitability

  • Develop and execute 360-degree strategies to scale traffic and conversion while maintaining healthy contribution margins.
  • Analyze complex datasets to identify "white space" opportunities, trending search terms, and competitive gaps.
  • Partner with Supply Chain and Creative teams to ensure inventory health and brand consistency across all touchpoints.

Master the Marketplace Ecosystem

  • Manage a diverse portfolio including Amazon (1P/3P), Walmart, Shopify, Wayfair, and Houzz.
  • Lead the strategy for TikTok Shop and Instagram Shopping, focusing on the convergence of content and commerce.
  • Proactively monitor and enforce MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) policies and brand protection protocols.

Optimize the Digital Shelf (DSO)

  • Oversee the extraction and optimization of product data from our PIM (Sales Layer) to ensure 100% accuracy and high-quality SEO content.
  • Run A/B tests on A+ Content, product titles, and imagery to maximize "Click-to-Cart" metrics.
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies that respond to market shifts while protecting brand value.

Performance Marketing & Compliance

  • Oversee (or partner with agencies on) Amazon Advertising, Walmart Connect, and Target Roundel to ensure an optimal ROAS/TACOS ratio.
  • Maintain "Elite" account health status by monitoring shipping performance, defect rates, and policy updates.
  • Identify and launch on new high-potential marketplaces or niche category-specific platforms.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Ecommerce Marketplace Management (specifically Amazon Seller/Vendor Central and Walmart Seller Center).
  • Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of PIM/DAM systems and how they feed into marketplace APIs.
  • Analytical Prowess: Advanced Excel skills and experience with ecommerce analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or PowerBI).
  • Retail Media Savvy: Proven experience managing or overseeing significant budgets for marketplace PPC.

Preferred:

  • Lighting/Home Goods Experience: Familiarity with lighting variants, technical specs, and B2B dealer relationships is a major plus.
  • Platform Expertise: Prior experience with NetSuite or similar ERP integrations.
  • Social Commerce: Experience launching and scaling a brand on TikTok Shop.

Key Competencies

  • Agility: The ability to pivot strategy as marketplace algorithms and policies change overnight.
  • Commercial Mindset: You treat the marketplace budget as if it were your own money, focusing on ROI and contribution margin.
  • Attention to Detail: You understand that a single incorrect attribute can suppress a listing and cost thousands in lost revenue.
