Position Overview
Brilliance Business Solutions is seeking an eCommerce Business Analyst who has a talent and a love for data and software design. In this role, you will help our customers meet their business goals by enabling them to sell their products online. You will coordinate efforts to define, design, and implement eCommerce solutions for our customers. This role reports directly to the Director of Product and Project Management. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in a project discovery to determine project scope, feature requirements, and estimates
- Define acceptance criteria, functional and technical specifications
- Write functional specifications that accurately reflect the customer's needs and are easy for the development team to understand.
- Define data models to organize data storage and create integration processes based on user requirements
- Support design elements by assisting with wireframes and/or mockups that communicate visual requirements and design to the customer and the development team.
- Collaborate with team members and customers to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure timely, high-quality completion of work.
- Become an expert and possess the ability to train others in the applications we support and develop.
- Create and execute test plans to verify functionality and minimize release issues.
- Participate in recurring meetings with clients to report progress, demo new application features, and address questions pertaining to the functionality of the application.
- Assist with creating project timelines and project team scheduling.
- Manage projects implementing eCommerce solutions for our customers so well that they become raving fans!
Education and Work Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as an IT business analyst, product owner, technical analyst, or related role.
- Experience writing functional and/or technical specifications.
- Experience working with customers on gathering requirements.

Experience with BigCommerce and/or other SaaS eCommerce platforms.

Preferred Skills
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Systems
- Experience with CMS or eCommerce platforms
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS
- Experience building wireframes using PPT, Mockflow, etc.
- Google Analytics experience
- Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager, Webmaster Tools, and PPC or AdWords
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience with Episerver, BigCommerce, Insite, Optimizely
- Experience with Quality Assurance and testing
- Project management skills
