Job Description:
Quality Engineering/Testing Role is to monitor and test the quality of the products used like Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA).
We are looking for good, experienced candidates who can perform End-to-End Quality Engineering/Testing of Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) & Oracle Business Intelligence Application (OBIA) with Financial & Procurement Modules.
So, we are looking for candidates with experience in below tools used in these products.
* Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 12c
* SQL and PL-SQL Knowledge
Must Know Skills
Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data validation, query verification, and test data preparation
Detailed experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) application functional and testing knowledge on Financial modules and Procurement modules.
Experience in testing EBS to OBIA data integration and reconciliation. Validate data flow from EBS transactional systems to OBIA analytical reports
Knowledge of EBS tables, data models, and business processes for Financial and Procurement flows
Test financial period close processes and reconciliation report
Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts including star schema, slowly changing dimensions, and fact tables
Good Understanding on OBIA Fact and Dimension Groups to test the ODI Load Plans with new Dimension/Fact Groups and verify integration with existing load plans
Validate ETL processes to ensure accurate extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various sources and data flows across multiple systems (EBS , OBIEE)
Perform data reconciliation between source and target systems
Experience in Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) to Test complex dashboard functionality, prompts, agents, and conditional formatting reports along with Session logs extraction and SQL Analysis to identify the data issues
Develop comprehensive test plans and test strategies for OBIEE/ODI/OBIA implementations
Create detailed test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing scenarios
Performance testing experience for OBIEE/ODI applications
Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects to Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development team on optimization
Ability to work closely with on-site/offshore development teams and business analysts
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and design documents
Good to Know Skills
Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11G & 12C
Knowledge in Oracle Communications Data Model (OCDM).
Functional Knowledge in Oracle Communication Billing and Revenue Management (BRM).
knowledge in Oracle Golden Gate (OGG) Data Replication Process - Oracle GoldenGate(OGG) 12c
testing of ODI/OBIEE objects and SQL/PL-SQL scripts
Experience in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Jobs execution, jobs monitoring, session logs extraction and SQL logs analysis.
