E-Commerce Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM Pacific Time, with a 30-minute break

Salary: $1,000 per month

Job Overview: 

We are looking for a Product Information Management (PIM) Specialist to ensure accurate, consistent, and high-quality product data through Excel-based automation and structured data management. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing product information workflows, enhancing operational efficiency, and supporting business growth with a well-maintained catalog.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain product data in Excel, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and structure.
  • Conduct routine data audits to eliminate errors, inconsistencies, and missing information.
  • Maintain product taxonomy, naming conventions, and metadata for better organization.
  • Automate data workflows using Excel formulas, data validation, and imports/exports to improve efficiency.
  • Identify and mark outdated or obsolete products as discontinued while maintaining a database of active vs. inactive SKUs.
  • Ensure product listings are fully optimized with correct attributes and specifications.
  • Ensure 99% product data accuracy and completeness through weekly data audits and effective data management processes.
  • Complete full product catalogs for the top 10 manufacturers with all required attributes.
  • Upload, manage, and update product information on Shopify, ensuring seamless integration and accurate catalog updates.

Qualifications:

  • Strong expertise in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, data validation, automation).
  • Experience in data management, governance, and taxonomy classification.
  • Understanding of e-commerce platforms and digital asset management.
  • Experience with Shopify is a plus (product uploads, data imports/exports, and catalog management).
  • Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) & data integration techniques.
  • Meticulous & detail-oriented – ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Process-driven & tech-savvy – able to create and maintain structured workflows.
  • Proactive & adaptable – identifies and addresses potential data errors early.
  • Growth-minded – continuously seeks ways to improve data workflows and processes.
  • Ability to work independently while following structured workflows and meeting deadlines.
