This hands-on Dynamics 365 engineering role involves technical leadership and collaboration to design and build impactful solutions that support key internal processes.
We’re looking for a seasoned Dynamics 365 Engineer, with a proven track record of delivering high quality D365 and Power Platform solutions end to end, and the experience to manage technical delivery across our delivery partners whilst having the ability to communicate to different seniority of stakeholders.
You really know this product & platform inside out, can confidently design and build solutions that are secure, scalable and maintainable, and thrive on being the go-to technical expert. You will be the in-house engineering SME for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, trusted to guide technical designs, decisions, influence platform evolution, confidently challenge where needed, and mentor others where appropriate.
At Genomics England, our internal systems power research and clinical programmes with real world and end user impact. Our Dynamics 365 platform supports key communications, workflows, data flows and operational processes across our Newborns and Research products in which this role sits at the centre, shaping architecture, building quality features and providing platform direction.
This is a hands-on Dynamics 365 engineering role with autonomy and ownership. It is not a Business Analyst or a system administrator role. You will be comfortably using your strong Dynamics 365 and Power Platform engineering expertise day to day, collaborating closely with product managers, business teams and external partners to design, build and deliver high quality Dynamics 365 solutions that work in the real world and make a difference.

Microsoft Power Platform or Dynamics 365 certifications, especially PL-600, are expected for serious candidates.

Blended working model
Genomics England operates a blended working model as we know our people appreciate the flexibility that hybrid working can bring. We expect most people to come into the office a minimum of 2 times each month. However, this will vary according to role and will be agreed with your team leader. There is no expectation that people will return to the office full time unless they want to, however, some of our roles require full time on site attendance e.g., lab teams, reception team.
Our teams and squads have, and will continue to reflect on what works best for them to work together successfully and have the freedom to design working patterns to suit, beyond the minimum. Our office locations are: Canary Wharf, Cambridge and Leeds.
