DWH DevOps Engineer (REF5073B)

As part of the ongoing evolution of Telekom's Machine-to-Machine Reporting Platform (M2M Reporting), we are expanding our activities in backend development, database optimization, and production support.

TMSP is one of Telekom's rapidly growing applications, serving a wide range of business reporting requirements. Our teams deliver end-to-end solutions using agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) and collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure scalability, stability, and innovation in every release.

In this role, you will be part of an agile DevOps team responsible for the functionality and optimization of ETL process chains, ensuring smooth data integration and transformation across multiple database layers (STAGE, INTEGRATION, AGGREGATION, EXPORT).

You will also contribute to the semantic layer design (universes), enabling self-service analytics and empowering users with data transparency.

Additionally, you will take an active role in production support, including analysis and resolution of incidents in the live environment, root-cause investigation, and implementation of hotfixes or corrective measures when required.

Your work will directly support front-end reporting (SAP BO Web Intelligence) and ensure high quality of releases through functional testing and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize existing ETL process chains within SAP BO Data Services
• Implement enhancements in database layers (STAGE, INTEGRATION, AGGREGATION, EXPORT)
• Contribute to the development of the semantic universe layer for self-service reporting
• Support reporting functionalities in SAP BO Web Intelligence
• Execute functional testing during release cycles to ensure application stability
• Analyze and resolve production incidents, identify root causes, and implement hotfixes or corrective solutions when required
• Collaborate with stakeholders and contribute innovative ideas for new reporting features
• Continuously explore new technologies such as cloud platforms, Power BI, and MS Strategy

• Strong understanding of Reporting and Data Warehouse concepts
• In-depth technical expertise in SAP BO Data Services
• Advanced knowledge of SAP BO Information Design Tool
• Strong experience with SAP BO Web Intelligence
• Good working knowledge of Oracle 12c and PL/SQL
• Hands-on experience in agile DevOps environments (SCRUM / Kanban)
• Experience with production support and incident analysis is a strong advantage
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies
