ABOUT YOUR ROLE:
As the China Durable Business Head, you will define & execute insight driven strategies to leverage scale and create competitive advantage to deliver China Durable business outcomes. You will drive product/service road-map and commercial approach to become Customer Preferred (end user, converter, and other key stakeholder). In addition to the above, you will establish capabilities to execute short & long term strategies in Automotive, Electronics and Industrial sub-segments and identify big ideas for the Durables segment that help expand the business into new areas. Examples could include research studies, new segment opportunities, new innovations, and M&A ideas.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
Set durable business strategy & annual operation plan, and lead the business team in achieving/exceeding objectives.
Lead the team to build the ecosystem network for focused segments/applications to maximize the use of synergy among eco partners. Drive deep end user engagement leading to actionable insights, value chain understanding, innovation, and BD outcomes.
Directly manage the sales team for durable centric converters. Lead the sales team and its effort to define channel strategy and customer needs to become Customer Preferred. Provide guidance to the broader LPM sales team for other fragmented durable business.
Lead business development, product management and application engineering teams. Create and update roadmap on Product, Service, and other Value-added offerings. Coordinate and drive execution of this roadmap. Optimize working process and organization/resources wherever applicable.
Develop talents in Durable business for long term success. Establish capabilities (organization, technology, assets, service, quality, marcom, etc) to execute our strategy.
Facilitate and drive M&A pipeline in durables and close adjacencies.
10+ years related business experience, emphasizing sales, business development and marketing desired, P&L experience will be a plus.
5+ years management experience required, with cross-functional management experience in a matrix organization preferred.
Deep understanding of Automotive and/or Electronics segments and channels.
Thought leader with strong strategic thinking.
Ability to facilitate and influence cross-functional team & stakeholders.
Very high sense of urgency & bias for action.
