Position: Draughtsman
Job Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: US Hours (9am-5pm EST)
Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed drawings and blueprints for architectural and engineering projects using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand design specifications and requirements.
- Review and modify existing drawings, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards.
- Prepare layout drawings and prepare presentations for client review.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary data and measurements for project development.
- Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain organized records of work and revisions for future reference.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Draughtsman or similar role in architectural or engineering design.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD and Revit Essential).
- Solid understanding of architectural and engineering principles and practices.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and drawings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A relevant degree or certification in drafting, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
