In the role of Doorman at Grand Hotel Timeo, a Belmond Hotel, you will be the welcoming face of our historic property. As the first point of contact, you will be essential in setting the tone for a luxury experience, managing the hotel entrance, and ensuring every guest feels recognized and valued from the moment they arrive. If you have a commanding presence and a passion for genuine hospitality, this is your moment. 

Primary Responsibilities Include 

• Greeting all guests with a warm and professional demeanor, opening car and hotel doors. 

• Managing the flow of traffic at the hotel entrance, coordinating with valets and porters. 

• Assisting guests with luggage and directing them to the reception or concierge. 

• Providing guests with basic information about the hotel and local area. 

• Maintaining the security and pristine appearance of the hotel entrance and lobby. 

• Hailing taxis and arranging transportation for guests. 

• Recognizing repeat guests and VIPs. 

Requirements

What You Bring: 

• Previous experience as a Doorman or in a similar guest-facing role within a 5-star luxury hotel. 

• Impeccable personal presentation and grooming standards. 

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 

• A confident, proactive, and courteous personality. 

• Fluent in Italian and English. Additional languages are a strong advantage. 

• The ability to stand for long periods and work outdoors in various conditions.
