Domain Architect - Gaming

Design and govern scalable architecture for key gaming platforms while aligning technology strategies with business objectives in a collaborative engineering environment.

 ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Domain Architect (DA), you are a lighthouse in the engineering organization. You will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and governing the architecture within your domain, with a primary focus on evolving key platforms and systems. You will ensure that solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with overall enterprise architecture, business objectives, and industry best practices.
 
 
YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Domain Architecture Design: Develop and maintain a scalable, resilient, and business-aligned architecture for the domain.
  • Collaboration: Work with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to ensure architectural consistency and effective implementation.
  • Governance and Standards: Define, enforce, and validate architectural standards, best practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Strategic Planning: Shape the domain’s technical roadmap and align it with long-term IT strategy and emerging technologies.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to security, compliance, and technology obsolescence.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evolve architecture based on business needs, technology trends, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain clear documentation and provide leadership with regular architecture updates.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
  • Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of technologies and tools related to cloud platforms (GCP), Java/Kotlin + Spring Boot framework, MySQL and Kafka.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to align domain-specific solutions with broader business and IT strategies.
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate complex architectural concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle domain-specific challenges.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and mentor teams, driving collaboration across multiple departments and influencing architectural decisions.
