Document Controller (Contract)

***This role is for a contractor position and will be processed through a third-party Managed Service Provider.  This is not a full-time employment position at GoPro***

Location:  Flexible (Shenzhen) - This role requires proximity to an office location with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days/week with manager approval.  

The Role

This role is member of Document control team to support Operation and Engineering team to process drawing/document release & change in PLM system; this role ensures the product drawings & documents are controlled.

What You Will Do

• Create new part numbers/BOM/Engineering changes (ECO/MCO/DEV)/Quality approvals in PLM system Arena based on e-mail requests
• Monitor the Engineering change approval progress until Engineering Changes being completed
• Communicate with Engineers if information in request is not clear
• Provide guidance and training to Engineers for EC process & Arena using  daily e-mail communications
• Raise document control process improvement & Arena system enhancement proposal which exposed in daily working if possible

Skills We’re Excited About

• Bachelor of Engineering or related background
• 3+ years working experience in Electrical product Manufacturing enterprise; and at least 1+ years’ experience for PLM system use- Arena, Agile, Propel etc.
• Have common understanding for consumable Electrical product BOM structure & Engineering change control process & doc control process.
• Detail-oriented, and be patient
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work in English working environment

Awesome but Not Required

• Document controller & Engineering change coordinator work experience is preferred
