Job Profile Summary

Document Control Specialist: Implements and maintains an Engineering Change Notice System (including Engineering Change Order (ECO), Manufacturing Change Order (MCO), Design Deviation Document (DDD), Technical Hold (TH), (Manufacturer Change Request (MCRCS, MCRMR). These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development. Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented.

About the role

Verifone Document Control Specialists are responsible for the receiving, reviewing, routing and eventual processing of all incoming Change Requests & Orders in accordance with the VeriFone Change Control Board.

Their primary role is to ensure optimum efficiency of all necessary design documentation changes within the business, and to provide subject matter expertise to those involved.

What you'll do

• Review Change Requests/Orders with an ability to interpret requirement vs action
• A knowledge of Change Request/Order differences, purposes, and impact
• Experience of Products, BoMs, Parts, Documents, and Revisions
• Ability to provide process and PLM training to both internal and external customers
• Working with all levels of to define necessary Change requirements
• Ability to analyse/transform data into simplified graphics to identify trends, root causes, etc.
• Ability to produce reports, processes, and procedures where necessary
• Act as a key point of contact for all Document Control-related queries
• Attend internal/external meetings and present PowerPoint presentations if required
• Ability to Travel internationally for periods of time (e.g., 1day to 2weeks)
• Ability to proactively project manage technical issues from initiation through to closure

What qualifications will you need to be successful?

Essential

• Strong experience (5-8 years) in Document Control or a similar role
• Experience using Agile PLM & Oracle or a similar PLM & Oracle system
• Fluent with standard Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Desirable

• Other relevant experience, in either the industry or advertised role
• Degree level education
