Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dispatch Coordinator to join our remote operations team.

As a Dispatch Coordinator (Pharmacy Operations), you will manage the end-to-end dispatch process, ensuring medications move from the pharmacy to facilities seamlessly. You’ll monitor order queues, optimize delivery routes, coordinate with drivers, and resolve logistical challenges in real time — all while maintaining accurate documentation and clear communication with healthcare facilities and internal teams.

Requirements

What you'll do

• Monitor order queues and organize incoming prescription requests efficiently for dispatch.
• Plan and optimize delivery routes based on urgency, geography, and facility needs.
• Coordinate with drivers to provide route details, updates, and real-time support.
• Verify orders and confirm patient and facility details for accuracy prior to dispatch.
• Track delivery progress and proactively address any delays or route deviations.
• Resolve operational issues such as address discrepancies, missing items, or reroutes promptly.
• Collaborate remotely with pharmacy, logistics, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and uphold high operational accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience in operations, logistics, or healthcare support.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, especially in remote team settings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills under pressure.
• Familiarity with dispatch, route planning, or fleet management tools.
• Experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare logistics, or delivery coordination (preferred).
