The Disaster Recovery team is responsible for assessing, planning, testing, and recovering our technology systems in the event of disruption and works closely with cross-functional business and technology teams to align and execute the overall technology disaster recovery strategy.

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for helping manage Point72's global Disaster Recovery program, with a focus on providing "follow-the-sun" coverage during APAC hours. You will lead testing initiatives and support DR efforts both within and outside the US, including assessment, planning, testing, and recovery. You will work with cross-functional business and technology teams to align and execute the overall technology disaster recovery strategy. Specifically, you will:

• Lead testing initiatives, coordinating all aspects from planning to execution
• Contribute to enhancing the firm's overall disaster recovery strategy, including designing, developing, and maintaining technology recovery solutions and tools
• Join the Crisis Command Team, responsible for monitoring and responding to business continuity and disaster recovery events and escalate as required
• Help maintain the disaster recovery program, including assisting with the business impact analysis (BIA), defining and maintaining the DR plans and procedures, and maintaining guidelines and governance for the DR process
• Provide oversight and coordination to disaster recovery coordinators and other Technology staff
• Track and escalate issues to the Head of Disaster Recovery for overall incident response
• Evaluate current processes and procedures for inefficiencies related to resilience and/or disaster recovery, and make improvement recommendations
• Assist the Head of DR with regular reports on DR activities to management (e.g., testing conducted, incidents occurred)
• Support DR efforts outside of the US, with particular focus on APAC region
• Support broader DR activities including continuous testing, event management, and strict adherence to documentation and governance standards

What’s required

• 3+ years of experience in Disaster Recovery.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in relevant field.
• Experience working with cross functional business and technology team to execute overall technology Disaster Recovery.
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
