We are looking for a Director of Strategic Finance (FP&A) to join our organization and play a key role in shaping financial strategy, operational performance, and cross-functional decision-making. This newly created position is a unique opportunity to work directly with the Spa Business CEO while also supporting the CFO, COO, Sales leaders, and the broader finance team, partnering with executive leadership to lead high-impact initiatives across FP&A, strategic planning, data analytics, and organizational transformation. This role is ideal for a high-performing finance leader with strong analytical capability, high emotional intelligence, exceptional communication skills, and the desire to influence major business decisions in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.

 

What You’ll Do

As Director of Strategic Finance, you will:

  • Lead mission-critical strategic initiatives and special projects for the CEO and executive leadership
  • Build comprehensive, value-added analyses across commercial, operational, and financial domains
  • Synthesize data across ERP, CRM, and operational systems into clear insights and recommendations
  • Support organizational transformation efforts—including process redesign, reporting improvements, and system harmonization
  • Partner with Operations, Sales, IT, Finance and other departments gather data and validate assumptions
  • Support ad hoc requests from the CEO, CFO, and equity sponsor with urgency and precision
  • Collaborate with FP&A team to ensure alignment with broader financial planning efforts
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and data harmonization
  • Serves as an FP&A expert who understands key business outcomes, deliverables, and their financial impact across the organization
  • Other special projects/duties as assigned

Compensation: $155,000+ depending on experience, plus eligibility for bonus

Requirements

We are seeking a candidate who has a strong analytical foundation and executive presence, with:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year College or University in finance, accounting, or a related field required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, or corporate development
  • Background in Big 4/Top 8 accounting, private equity, consulting, or consumer-facing brand finance desired
  • Experience leading or supporting organizational transformation, including process improvement or system modernization
  • Strong financial modeling, analytical, and data storytelling capabilities
  • Exceptional communication skills for C-suite and Board-level audiences
  • Ability to influence across functions and operate effectively in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
  • Familiarity with multi-system environments, ERP/CRM integrations, and complex data flows
