As Connor Consulting continues to grow, we are seeking a Director of Service Delivery – Software Advisory who will be responsible for driving world-class execution across Connor Consulting’s full advisory and managed services portfolio. This role owns the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for all client engagements spanning ITAM, SaaS & Cloud Advisory (ISC), Tooling Implementation & Enablement (TIE), and Managed Optimization Services (MOS).



This is a global role designed to scale with the practice as it expands. Beyond delivery excellence, this role is accountable for customer success and account expansion, IBM CVA pre-sales leadership, Global Delivery Services coordination, and intellectual property development.



Service Delivery Leadership

  • Own overall delivery accountability across all three service categories: ISC, TIE, and MOS
  • Lead delivery governance for MOS portfolio including engagements at MTCIT, du Telecom, DESC, ARM, Bank Muscat, and HCL Technologies
  • Ensure on-time, on-budget completion of ISC advisory engagements with measurable client value
  • Oversee TIE implementations (Flexera, ServiceNow, IBM ILMT/BigFix) ensuring technical quality and adoption
  • Establish delivery excellence standards, methodologies, and QA frameworks
  • Drive continuous improvement through AI adoption, automation, and best-practice tooling


Customer Success & Account Expansion

  • Own customer success outcomes: retention, satisfaction, and reference-ability
  • Proactively identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts
  • Drive MOS contract renewals and upsell: additional publishers, expanded scope
  • Convert ISC advisory engagements into MOS opportunities (land and expand)
  • Implement voice-of-customer programs to capture feedback
  • Build reference account portfolio for business development


IBM CVA & Pre-Sales Leadership

  • Serve as pre-sales lead for IBM Client Value Achievement (CVA) opportunities
  • Lead technical aspects of pursuits: solution design, effort estimation, presentations
  • Partner with Sales on strategic pursuits requiring delivery credibility
  • Support MOS and TIE pre-sales requiring technical input


Global Delivery Center Coordination

  • Coordinate with GDS on resource allocation, capacity planning, and governance
  • Own GDS capacity planning: forecasting, allocation, constraint management
  • Ensure GDS resources (PM + Technical) meet quality standards
  • Establish weekly/bi-weekly resource planning cadence
  • Escalate capacity constraints to MD for resolution


Knowledge Management & IP Development

  • Own intellectual property development: assessment frameworks, methodologies, playbooks
  • Develop reusable delivery assets and accelerators
  • Codify best practices from engagements into methodologies
  • Ensure GDS resources contribute to IP development
  • Target: 2 reusable frameworks/playbooks per quarter


Team Leadership

  • Lead delivery capability across multidisciplinary teams
  • Build scalable methodology and training programs
  • Foster knowledge sharing and best practice development
  • Drive utilisation optimization: 70%+ billability


Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years in software asset management, IT advisory, or technology consulting
  • Deep licensing expertise: Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, VMware
  • Leadership of managed services or recurring revenue programs
  • Experience leading global/distributed teams
  • Strong commercial acumen and pre-sales contribution
  • Certifications advantageous: CSAM, ISO 19770, FinOps, ITIL
