As the Director of Sales & Partner Business for our newly established Public Sector business unit in the DACH region, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and building strategic partnerships with public sector organizations.
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
-Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to the public sector in the DACH region.
-Drive the complete sales cycle from lead generation and qualification to closing deals and managing ongoing relationships.
-Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline with clear forecasts and performance metrics.
- Partner Ecosystem Development:
-Identify, establish, and nurture strategic partnerships with local technology vendors, system integrators, and consultancy firms.
-Act as the primary liaison between our organization and external partners, ensuring alignment of objectives and maximizing market reach.
- Market Engagement & Relationship Building:
-Build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers in municipalities, state agencies, and federal institutions.
-Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and public sector forums to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
- Tender Management & Proposal Development:
-Oversee the development of competitive, compliant tender responses in alignment with local procurement regulations.
-Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., technical, marketing, legal) to craft compelling proposals that address client needs.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
- A proven track record (8+ years) in public sector sales and partner management within the DACH region
- Deep understanding of public procurement processes, regulatory compliance, and tendering in the public sector
- Experience in selling complex IT solutions (e.g., digital transformation, cloud computing, AI, cybersecurity) to public sector clients
- Demonstrated success in building and managing strategic partnerships and alliances
- Excellent strategic planning, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and greenfield environment
- Excellent German and English language skills
