Job Description

We are seeking an accomplished and driven Director – Public Sector Sales to lead strategic sales initiatives across the UK Public Sector market. The ideal candidate will bring a strong hunter mindset, proven enterprise sales experience, and deep industry relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set and achieve annual sales targets aligned with business growth objectives

  • Develop and execute strategies to identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities

  • Engage with senior client stakeholders and internal leadership to define pursuit strategies and client messaging plans

  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key customers and partners

  • Align client business goals with industry-leading digital transformation solutions

  • Collaborate closely with the presales and technical teams to craft compelling, customized proposals

  • Lead participation in RFPs and complex sales cycles

  • Stay updated on IT services trends, competitor movements, and UK public sector market dynamics

  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and networking forums

Requirements

  • Minimum 12+ years of proven sales experience in an IT consulting firm or product/platform company

  • Strong experience selling into the UK Public Sector

  • Demonstrated progressive achievement of increasing sales quotas

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities

  • Fluent in English

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field
