Director, Project Methodology & Delivery Enablement ( Remote )

The Director of Project Methodology & Delivery Enablement is responsible for defining, implementing, and continuously improving AssistRx’s delivery methodologies, standards, tools, and enablement practices. This role focuses on establishing consistency, scalability, and quality across project execution by enabling Project Managers, Business Analysts, Strategic Account Managers, and IT delivery leaders through best practices, governance, training, and coaching. The position operates in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and requires close collaboration across functional and leadership levels to support successful project delivery outcomes across the organization.

Requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as the primary owner and steward of AssistRx detailed processes and models to ensure consistency and excellence.
  • Collaborates cross functionally to define and maintain standard operating procedures, frameworks, templates, playbooks, and governance processes.
  • Establishes lifecycle guidelines, delivery checkpoints, escalation paths, and reporting standards.
  • Designs and delivers onboarding, training, and ongoing enablement programs for Project Managers, Business Analysts, Strategic Account Managers, and IT delivery leaders as it applies to standard operating procedures.
  • Provides coaching and mentorship to project leadership to drive consistency, maturity, and delivery excellence.
  • Partners with PMO leadership to drive alignment across Project Management and Business Analysis functions.
  • Collaborates with PMO to define delivery tools and best practices, including Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and related reporting solutions.
  • Defines mechanisms to measure delivery health, performance, efficiency, and adherence to standards.
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement across delivery processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Leads change management efforts related to new methodologies, tools, or delivery models.
  • Interfaces with Executive Leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure delivery practices align with organizational strategy.
  • Researches industry best practices and recommends improvements to delivery approaches.
  • Occasionally supports project teams in complex or escalated delivery situations.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Greater than 8 years’ experience in project, program, or delivery leadership roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience defining complex and comprehensive processes, PMO standards, governance, and delivery frameworks.
  • Advanced experience with Change Management best practices.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of AI tools, Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence, and related delivery tools.
  • Proficiency with MS Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project.
