Director – Programming Strategy & Insights (Content Strategy), Hindi Movies

Shape content strategy for FTA movie channels using actionable insights, manage programming execution, and drive monetization opportunities with strong collaboration across departments.

Job Summary: This role is a part of the Programming Strategy & Insights team for the Hindi Movies Team.  The incumbent use actionable insights to shape all content strategy decisions for the FTA Movie Channels in the cluster. Key Responsibilities
  • Primary ownership of weekly FPCs for all FTA movie channels, managed independently to ensure seamless programming execution and adherence to evolving guidelines and processes.
  • Acting as a key programming–sales interface, maintaining regular engagement with the Sales team to identify and support monetization opportunities around FTA slots and special programming properties.
  • Develop in-depth consumer understanding based on macro trends, industry reports, competitor performance, viewership data and primary consumer research to identify target audience and contribute to channel philosophy and content selection.
  • Developing a plan to leverage key opportunities and combat threats to maximize viewership by leveraging data from multiple sources to generate actionable insights.
  • ·Strengthening FTA programming strategy by leveraging the movie library effectively, aligning content ratings and title selection with the target audience to enhance viewer relevance and channel performance.
  • Identify key growth levers, develop strategic solutions, and track business health metrics to maximize viewership.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Creative Communications, PRS, Ad Sales, and Brand Solutions teams to deliver AOP-aligned outcomes.
