Accountabilities:

  • Lead procurement strategy and execution across solar PV and storage systems, including modules, trackers, inverters, transformers, and balance-of-system components.
  • Execute complex RFP processes and negotiate large-scale, multi-party supply, integration, and construction agreements.
  • Integrate energy storage systems into sourcing strategies for both hybrid and stand-alone applications.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align technical, commercial, and contractual aspects from early-stage development through execution.
  • Establish supplier performance standards, metrics, and supplier development programs to ensure quality and cost optimization.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage scale across projects and implement strategic sourcing approaches to maximize value.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct risk analysis to support project timelines and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • 5–10 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or project transactions within the renewable energy sector.
  • Demonstrated success managing complex capital procurement efforts, ideally in asset-heavy or project-driven organizations.
  • At least 1 year of experience managing EPC selection processes.
  • Strong background in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and implementing strategic sourcing methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field required; MBA or relevant business qualification preferred.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams in engineering, finance, and legal.
