Key responsibilities:
- Plan influential x-functional initiatives , analyze risks of the planned program and oversee and influence collaboration with other teams, to ensure the affiliated/cross functional teams to successfully complete the program implementation and support Coupang’s business growth.
- Own the Tech development roadmaps with Engineers around the heavy-duty decision-making capabilities established through heavy duty analytics to drive performance.
- Design and manage feedback loops from Operations, Business, and Suppliers to key technology teams and help Coupang build best in class enterprise capabilities.
- Establish procedures to translate expected business outcomes into system settings.
- Guide the development of processes and controls to monitor behavior of our Forecasting, Ordering and Inventory Management and Supplier Integration systems.
- Set goals and OKRs for inventory management KPIs that push the boundaries of current capabilities and drive short term and mid-term impact
- Manage and develop an exceptional group of talent who work at the confluence of business and technology
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, capacity planning, and workforce planning, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the e-commerce or related industry.
- Extensive experience and Provent track record in supply chain, Planning, operations, transportation, and fulfillment related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with expertise in data analysis, planning and forecasting so as to enable the ability to draw conclusions from data and build basic models to support business decision-making.
- Proficiency with advanced Excel, statistical modeling, and supply chain optimization modeling.
- Experience with data analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI) and techniques
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams and external partners. Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
- Masters degree
- Strong understanding of Inventory/Demand Forecast/Ordering within a Retail Context
- SQL Knowledge Intermediate Level
- Advanced ability to read/write English, Intermediate ability to speak English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce & distribution (e.g. Discount Store, CVS) or global companies.
- Experience with supply chain improvement projects
- APICS certification (CPIM/CSCP)
