Supergoop! is seeking a Director of Sports Partnerships to lead the strategy, execution, and longer-term vision of the brand’s sports partnership programs. This role reports to the CMO and plays a critical role in driving measurable brand growth, including shifting brand equity, accelerating awareness, and acquiring relevant new customers through culturally relevant sports partnerships. The Director will be responsible for building and identifying partnership platforms that meaningfully advance Supergoop!’s SPF leadership and credibility, ensuring partnerships are not just visible, but truly equity-building for the brand.
This is a high-impact, highly cross-functional role for a leader who can think big, balance long-term thinking with short-term action, and roll up their sleeves to bring best-in-class 360° programs to life. The ideal candidate is both a strategist and an exceptional doer, capable of inspiring internal teams and external partners alike.
What You’ll Do
Own Sports Partnerships Strategy & Execution
- Lead the end-to-end strategy and execution of Supergoop!’s sports partnership marketing programs, from setting clear objectives, to leading planning, activation, measurement, and reporting.
- Champion an impactful 360° approach to partnerships across brand, product, PR, influencer, social, media, creative, retail, and experiential, with a long-term vision to ensure the brand is fully maximizing available tactics and channels.
Be a Cross-Functional Leader & Connector
- Act as a central internal “hub” leader and integrator, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure partnerships are fully leveraged across all consumer touchpoints consistently and cohesively with broader marketing strategy and plan.
- Partner with Brand team to ensure that partnership storytelling and comms strategy drives authentic, credible integrations that halo broader marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with PR, Paid Media, Influencer and Social teams to maximize partnerships through earned, owned, and paid channels.
- Align with Product, Retail, and DTC teams to unlock partnership extensions, product collaborations, limited edition drops, and in-store impact where relevant.
Build, Manage & Grow Partnerships
- Own and deepen relationships with existing sports partners, serving as a trusted, strategic partner internally and externally.
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new sports partnerships that align with brand strategy, audience growth goals, and cultural relevance.
- Negotiate partnership scopes and ensure programs deliver mutual value and long-term brand impact.
Measure Impact & Optimize
- Develop clear KPIs and success metrics for sports partnerships, tracking performance against brand and business objectives.
- Analyze results and translate insights into optimization opportunities and future strategy.
- Communicate performance, learnings, and recommendations clearly to senior leadership.

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in sports marketing, partnerships, or brand marketing agencies, either brand or agency-side
- Proven track record of developing and executing impactful partnership programs.
- Strong blend of creative vision and analytical rigor.
- Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally across marketing disciplines and commercial teams.
Starting Salary Range: $120k - $150k/year + 12% bonus potential
