As Sales Director, you’ll step into a region with an established customer base, a talented sales team, and growing momentum in the enterprise security space. You’ll play a critical role in helping the team win larger enterprise opportunities, deepen our partner ecosystem, and continue building Expel’s reputation as a trusted security partner for modern organizations.

What Expel can do for you

  • Give you real ownership of a strategic region. You’ll lead Expel’s UK&I business—working closely with GTM leadership to shape the strategy that drives enterprise growth and long-term customer success across the region.
  • Put you in front of meaningful security challenges. Expel partners with organizations across industries that rely on us to help them detect, understand, and respond to modern cyber threats. You’ll work directly with senior security leaders to help them solve real problems and improve their security outcomes.
  • Hand you a team ready to win. You’ll lead a focused team that includes Enterprise and Commercial Account Executives, SDRs, and Solutions Architects—helping them sharpen enterprise execution, strengthen partner collaboration, and consistently win strategic opportunities.
  • Help shape Expel’s international growth. UK&I represents a critical market for Expel. You’ll play a key role in expanding enterprise adoption, deepening partner relationships, and helping the region continue to scale as part of Expel’s global growth.

What you can do for Expel

  • Elevate the enterprise motion. Coach your team on complex, multi-threaded enterprise deals—driving stronger account planning, executive engagement, and disciplined deal execution.
  • Build a predictable revenue engine. Bring structure and operational rigor to pipeline management, forecasting, and deal inspection so the region becomes more predictable and scalable.
  • Accelerate partner-driven growth. UK&I operates heavily through channel relationships. You’ll deepen engagement with MSSPs and VAR partners to generate stronger pipeline and expand market reach.
  • Coach and develop your team. Build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement by mentoring your AEs and helping them master enterprise selling.
  • Strengthen Expel’s market presence. Work with Marketing, Solutions Engineering, and Channel teams to increase brand awareness and enterprise engagement across the region.
  • Drive strategic execution. Analyze territory data, identify whitespace, and adjust strategy in real time to unlock growth opportunities.

What you should bring with you

  • Enterprise cybersecurity sales leadership: You’ve led enterprise sales teams selling complex cybersecurity or SaaS solutions and understand how to navigate multi-threaded enterprise deals.
  • Channel-driven go-to-market experience: You have experience selling through MSSPs, VARs, or similar partner ecosystems and understand how to generate pipeline in partner-led environments.
  • Builder mentality: You thrive in ambiguous environments and enjoy building structure, operating cadence, and predictable execution within growing regions.
  • Operational discipline: You’re comfortable inspecting pipeline, improving forecast accuracy, and implementing consistent deal strategy across your team.
  • Executive presence: You can build credibility with CISOs, security leaders, and internal stakeholders alike.
  • Experience across UK&I or broader European markets: You understand the dynamics of enterprise sales across the region and how to navigate different buying environments.

Additional notes

The compensation for this role includes a base salary between £280,000 and £320,000 + equity.

The role is based in the United Kingdom, with travel required for customer engagement, partner meetings, and occasional visits to Expel headquarters in the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom. We do not currently sponsor immigration visas.
