Role Summary

The Director of Sales – This role owns the regional sales strategy, pipeline development, and execution of complex enterprise deals, while serving as a senior commercial leader and trusted advisor to customers and partners.

The role requires a strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with responsibility for expanding LigaData’s footprint across key GCC markets through direct sales and strategic partnerships.



Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth

  • Define and execute the regional sales strategy for the GCC market in alignment with company objectives

  • Build, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities

  • Lead complex, high-value sales cycles from early engagement through contract negotiation and closure

  • Drive consistent achievement of revenue targets and growth objectives

Customer Engagement & Market Development

  • Establish and maintain trusted relationships with senior business and technical stakeholders

  • Position LigaData as a strategic partner by aligning solutions to customer priorities and business outcomes

  • Conduct early-stage customer engagements using a consultative, design-thinking approach

  • Develop deep understanding of customer pain points, market trends, and competitive landscape

Solution Positioning & Value Creation

  • Work closely with solutions and delivery teams to translate customer requirements into clear, value-driven use cases

  • Articulate differentiated value propositions across data platforms, analytics, and AI solutions

  • Support customer adoption strategies to ensure long-term success and account expansion

Partnerships & Ecosystem Development

  • Collaborate with alliance and partnership teams to develop strategic system integrator (SI) and technology partnerships

  • Strengthen indirect sales channels and joint go-to-market initiatives across the GCC

  • Represent LigaData in regional industry events, partner engagements, and executive forums

Forecasting, Reporting & Governance

  • Track, forecast, and report sales activities using company systems and CRM tools

  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and provide regular updates to executive leadership

  • Ensure disciplined sales execution and compliance with internal processes



Required Experience & Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales, business development, or commercial leadership

  • Proven track record of selling complex software, data, or digital solutions in regional or multinational markets

  • Strong experience managing long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles with C-level engagement

  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technology solutions to customer business challenges

  • Experience working in matrixed, multicultural, and geographically distributed organizations
