Summary

Spark is hiring a Senior Director of Revenue Operations to architect, lead, and scale our Revenue Operations function. As a direct report to the CEO, you will serve as a key business partner across our executive team—owning the systems, processes, and insights that fuel revenue growth. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring both strategic vision and operational execution. You will design and scale the infrastructure that empowers our sales, success, and marketing teams to perform at their highest levels, ensuring Spark’s go-to-market engine is predictable, data-driven, and ready for scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive RevOps strategy: Build a long-term roadmap for Revenue Operations that aligns with company growth goals and executive priorities.

  • Lead revenue intelligence: Own forecasting, pipeline visibility, and end-to-end revenue reporting, equipping the CEO and leadership team with actionable insights.

  • Scale GTM infrastructure: Manage and evolve our tech stack (HubSpot, Gong, etc.), ensuring seamless integration, automation, and adoption across teams.

  • Operationalize growth levers: Partner with Sales, Success, and Marketing leaders to optimize funnel conversion, lead routing, account segmentation, and territory design.

  • Design incentive structures: Collaborate with Finance and the CEO on quota models, compensation plans, and incentive structures that balance performance and profitability.

  • Establish accountability mechanisms: Define KPIs, dashboards, and operating cadences that drive transparency and execution from board-level reporting to frontline coaching.

  • Lead with influence: Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team, helping to shape strategic decisions with data-driven insights and operational excellence.

  • Build and mentor a team: Recruit, develop, and scale a high-performing RevOps team over time to support Spark’s next stage of growth. You will have one direct report starting out.

What We’re Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in revenue, sales, or GTM operations, with significant leadership experience in a high-growth SaaS or technology company.

  • Proven ability to design and scale RevOps functions in a startup or scale-up environment, with strong executive presence and board-level exposure.

  • Deep expertise in CRM and sales tech ecosystems (HubSpot strongly preferred) with a systems and process mindset.

  • Track record of building forecasting and reporting frameworks that drive executive and board-level decision-making.

  • Strong strategic thinker who can also roll up their sleeves to execute in a lean, entrepreneurial environment.

  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Demonstrated experience designing comp plans, territory models, and incentive structures at scale.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in Medicare, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

  • Background supporting both inside and field sales organizations.

  • Exposure to board-level reporting and investor relations in growth-stage companies.

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Spark. In accordance with New York City, Colorado, California, and other applicable laws, Spark is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is listed below. We expect most candidates to fall in the middle of the range. We also believe that your personal needs and preferences should be taken into consideration, so we allow some choice between equity and cash.
